UN ESPACIO PARA LA CREATIVIDAD Y LA SOCIALIZACIÓN
La segunda IFF fue una entrañable experiencia para todos los asistentes.
Nos gustó mucho ver a algunos padres que amablemente se acercaron para acompañarnos y ambientar el evento con la presencia familiar, tan beneficiosa para este tipo de encuentros.
Los profesores estuvieron contentos y relajados, haciendo gala de sus platos típicos más representativos así como de la indumentaria y símbolos tradicionales de sus regiones, dando ejemplo de integración cultural.
Y los protagonistas, nuestros jóvenes alumnos de Secundaria, permanecieron atareados de aquí para allá en pequeños grupitos, bromeando con compañeros y adultos, disfrutando de forma evidente.
Una auténtica celebración multicultural; una oportunidad para PARTICIPAR y pensar en los demás compartiendo su gastronomía, y lo más importante, para relacionarse de forma distendida y respetuosa con toda la comunidad.
Como broche final, un micro, un piano y un improvisado escenario. Daba gusto ver cómo unos disfrutaban cantando y tocando sus instrumentos mientras otros se acercaban en corro a palmear al ritmo y comentaban asombrados…. “¡qué bien canta!”.

AN OPPORTUNITY TO GET CREATIVE AND SOCIALISE
The second International Food Fair was an extraordinary experience for all involved.
It was very pleasing to see some of our parents who kindly came to help out and accompany us on the day, making it more of a family event.
The teachers were on great form with some wearing articles of clothing representative of their region and offering typical national dishes they had prepared in support of this cross-cultural integration event.
Our students, the stars of the day, were busy visiting the different stalls set up around the school, chatting and laughing with other students and the staff, obviously enjoying the experience.
It was a true celebration of our multicultural community; a chance to TAKE PART and think about others while sharing gastronomy, and above all, it was an opportunity for the whole school to mingle and learn about each other’s cultures.
