In the spirit of fostering global consciousness and making a tangible impact on our planet’s health, Caxton College proudly participated in the annual Earth Hour initiative. Earth Hour, a worldwide movement organised by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), encourages individuals, communities, and businesses to turn off their lights for one hour, from 8:30 to 9:30pm. This symbolic gesture not only highlights our collective power to combat climate change but also serves as a poignant reminder of our responsibility towards Earth’s preservation and the urgent need to act for its future. This year the WWF wants to make it ‘The Biggest Hour for the Planet’ by getting everyone to use the hour to engage in positive actions for our shared home.
