“The Crowfield Curse” by Pat Walsh
This book tells the story of an orphan boy who is taken to an abbey, where he becomes monk. However, when he gets to the age of 12, weird things start happening. He starts seeing mythological creatures and ghosts and hearing voices.
It’s a suspense-horror book, that at first seems boring, but then the book gets better and better, more and more tense as you progress. You are introduced to a bunch of special and rare characters, each one with its own unique characteristics and mystery. It also has a sequel called The Crowfield Demon, which I have yet to read.
I recommend it to everyone who is interested in reading a good – and not very difficult – book.

“The Crowfield Curse” por Pat Walsh
Esta novela juvenil narra la historia de un huérfano que es llevado a una abadía en la que se forma para ser monje. Sin embargo, a la edad de doce años, empiezan a suceder cosas extrañas a su alrededor y comienza a ver criaturas mitológicas y fantasmas y también a escuchar voces que alterarán su realidad.
Es un libro de miedo y suspense que conforme avanza va ganando en intensidad y mejorando notablemente. A lo largo del mismo aparecen numerosos personajes de diversa índole, dotados de rasgos únicos y misteriosos.
Ya se ha publicado la segunda parte bajo el título “The Crowfield Demon”, pero todavía no lo he leído.
